The Look Room
Hotel Bologna's Look rooms have a young but elegant design, created by light, colour and materials. The large windows are the state-of-the-art when it comes to sound insulation and energy saving, and the flooring is made with wide pieces of durstam wood and provide the room with a warm and natural atmosphere.
A comfortable double bed in solid ash wood with fixed-slat mattress base and foam mattress is just what you need after a long day. Bright splashes of colour on the walls lend a fresh and lively feel, and the lighting includes some of the most famous contemporary Italian designs and little surprises like the courtesy night light which reflects off the floor without disturbing you or the coloured room light to create a relaxing atmosphere.
The desks, which are different in every room, have a combination of laser cut steel and fine marble surfaces, and are large enough to accommodate all your things.
These rooms also include energy-saving features, with climate control and safety managed by a computerised system. High speed broadband internet is free in these rooms and the desk has sockets for your iPod or computer which connect directly to the flatscreen television, so you can view your photos or listen to your music whenever you want.
A large well-lit and fully equipped wardrobe, a kettle for hot drinks at any time of day, an electric safe, and a real, 100 watt hair-dryer complete the furnishings in your room.
The large bathrooms are decorated in light-coloured marble from the Venetian mountains with strong splashes of colour. They also have enormous, full-height slabs of light marble, bathroom accessories designed by well known Italian firms and large well-lit and heated mirrors.
The showers are comfortably-sized with large crystal-glass panes and floor level, stone shower trays, carved from single pieces of the same marble used in the accessories. The wash-basin surfaces are cut from slabs of warm grey marble and the basins are carved from the same stone with a soft and linear profile.
